The date will be confirmed for when my complementary therapy business will open and we will be taking bookings. As with everything else following the easing of restrictions, my business has to follow strict guidelines in order to ensure your safety and this video explains the differences to expect:
I have followed all the Government guidelines and advice from my professional association, Complementary Health Professionals, and I have undertaken training in COVID-19, including hand hygiene and cross-contamination control and attach copies of my certificates. I have also undertaken a full risk and COSHH assessment and have cleaning protocols in place within my treatment area that are recorded daily. I will be wearing PPE during our session.
I will need to complete a pre-screening assessment prior to your appointment, which I have to do for every client. This again ensures your safety.
On the day of your appointment, please could you bring your own bottled water as I am unable to provide drinks and please avoid wearing any jewellery. I would appreciate it if you could wear your own mask, or one will be provided for you to wear. When you arrive, you will be asked to remove your shoes and sanitise your hands. During your treatment, I have been advised to keep conversation to the minimum to avoid droplet formation but I can assure you that I will give you the same high standard treatment as always.
If possible, I would prefer contactless payment either by bank transfer or PayPal. I have had to increase my prices slightly to cover the cost of PPE and additional cleaning but also my treatment time is restricted to an hour. The cost of an appointment is currently £55.00-£60.00-£65.00 for the hour.
